Welcome to The State’s Cirque Holidaze Video Casting Contest!

How does it work?
Contestants enter a video of 60 seconds or less showing us why they should be cast in Broadway in Columbia's Dec. 1 production of Cirque Dreams Holidaze at the Koger Center. Then, readers view the entries via the tabs at the top of this page and vote for their favorites as frequently as once an hour.

Are there prizes?
Yes. The winner will be cast in the Dec. 1 Cirque Dreams Holidaze show and will receive four (4) tickets for family members or friends to watch.

Who can submit a video?
Any South Carolina resident older than 18 years is eligible.

Are there restrictions on videos?
Videos should be 60 seconds or shorter and should conform to The State Media Company's online Terms of Service, available at thestate.com/terms_of_service.

What is required of the winner?
The winner must respond to an email from The State (to be sent on or around Nov. 4) within 24 hours of receipt acknowledging his or her win. After that, The State will email him or her a publicity and eligibility release form, which must be signed and returned within 24 hours of receipt.

The winner also must be available for interview, by telephone or in person, with Broadway in Columbia and/or members of the media on Friday, Nov. 14, and for the show and any preparation Broadway in Columbia deems necessary on Monday, Dec. 1.
